i am not attempting to attack you in any way, but i am explaining why i dont like axl rose or any of the other rock stars i listed for their personality. i love guns n roses, but i dont think axl is a very talented song writer. jimmy page is a guitar god and jim morrison was a profound poet and vocalist. yes, they all have good aspects about them but they also have bad. and in these cases the bad are more profound. they all had issues as a child except page. but woiuld you excuse the man who Silence of the Lambs, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Psycho were based on? he killed around 60 women and skinned them and wore their chests and groin on him. he made trash cans, lamp shades, and couches out of bones and skin. but this was cause from an abusive relationship with his father and an unnaturally close bond with his mother. would you excuse him for the horrible attrociaties he commited?

 

Axl didn't murder people nor did he skin people. Neither did any other people you mentioned. They weren't serial killers, murderers, child molesters, etc. Deep down they were good people and I stand by that. I love Axl Rose. I think he's an amazing talented person with a beautiful but troubled soul. On the wine bottle incident, that lady was crazy. The night his child died, to threaten him is NOT smart. Anything would set him off and I don't blame him. The last thing I'd want was someone bitching at me to turn my music down or say they'd call the cops if I didn't. Poor poor Axl. It's so sad.

I know... but it's just sad. I'm done being violent, it's not who I am. I've found a more peaceful way to express exactly how I feel about Axl. This is a song I wrote for him... msybe it'll help you understand more. I communicate through music best (like a Guns 'n Roses song actually changed my political stance) maybe other people do too.

okay, i for one am sick of hearing about your love for axl. even though a lotta peeps have just stopped bashin you, you still persist in writing more and more and more. eventually we're gonna have axl rose's bastard biography in this thread. i apologise for any abuse i've given you throughout this subject of axl rose, i've just been out of order and not very fair on some of my posts. but i think you've written enough for us to exactly understand how much you love him.... i don't think we need to understand any more. you feel me knockin?

as for all those rock figures being creeps - kurt cobain was THE negative creep and he was stooooonnneeeedddd (and blitzed out of his skull most of his life) but to come that far while being twisted as fuck and putting on a show that'd give "the who" a run for their money in terms of destruction - that's what got me buzzin. the music, and the scene. Grunge was the shit, i don't idolise particular rock figures as such, it's the music that drives me. but to appreciate it, you gotta understand it.
