I just got both of mine done with barbells the other day and I already love them. I would suggest using a sea salt spray or soak along with the cleaning because it is natural and can be used between washings to keep things clean. I would only suggest that you make sure it can stay sterile. Also, I thought it hurt alot at first but it hasn't been bad since the first day.

I had one pierced for about 7 months but i had a lot of problems healing so i decided to just take it out. you would never know i had it done though, no scaring or anything. i really enjoyed having it pierced but it became a bit of a hassel dealing with infections and things.

I want mine pierced but I am super terrified of the pain. I've had a monroe, 2 labrets, and a navel piercing but the thought of piercing my nipples has always given me butterflies in my tummy. How terrible is the pain?

You shouldn't be too terrified of the pain if you've already had facial piercings. It was worse initially, but since you can't touch them all the time without looking pervy, so they don't get too irritated and healing goes quickly. I didn't like the initial pain at all, but as soon as I saw them I loved them, and the healing hasn't been bad. A little tender the 1st week but mostly smooth sailing.

Yay! I finally did it! and it's BEAUTIFUL!

The pain was not to bad at all, like the clamp was a bit of a drag but was only on for like a minute and the initial pain of the peircing was shocking but lasted like 5 seconds. It was not at all a big deal. Afterwards things were a little sensetive but what can you expect you've just put a bar through a part of your body. Had not really hurt at all since.

Anyway though, very much loving the new piercing.

I got both mine done in one day after going to the hospital haha, NOthing serious just got some medicine for my throat or something.. ANYWAYS..

I was nervous and scared obviouslly like you should be, and I heard that HELPS the pain, but yea.. To me it was quite painfull, most sharp pain I have ever felt.. BUT dont let this discourage anyone wanting to get it done, because the pain only lasts a few seconds.. its a pain in my opinion anyone could stand.

I think its tottaly worth it, and if I had to get them done again, i WOULD in a heartbeat, mine healed in like 1-2 weeks, they healed really well!

And I got both them pierced within about a total of 3 minutes, so it was awesome

I had mine pierced at the same time, if it wasn't like that then it would have sucked. I hate needles personally, and it hurt like a BITCH. It took about a week to stop hurting and the day after it hurt to wear a shirt. I know I am probably not as hXc as some people here, but I just had to get it done in memory of my cousin who OD'd 2 years ago. Also they are always erect, and I have heard varying tales of the sensitivity after. I can't feel much on them, but my cousin said they got super sensitive on him.

Also, this was my first piercing I have ever had, so that probably added to the pain of not being used to getting pierced at all...

They are now captive ring, had to wait about 6 months after getting them pierced for the inside to heal fully.

I was really nervous about mine, mostly due to stories from friends. In the end it was sooooo simple and not painful at all. Healing was quick and I love my nipple rings.

omy left one barely hurt to get done, its the 2nd one you gotta watch out for, that one hurt. 2 seconds felt like 5 seconds. right one healed fine with no problems, but i ended up taking it out after about 2 months because it was infected. i am thinking of getting it redone but vertical this time. i just hope it doesnt look awkward!

my other one has been in a year to the date and i love it. I have a horseshoe it it with spikes right now, but i also recommend starting out with barbells

EDIT: i have a 14g in my left nipple, but im thinking about going bigger.
