oh you wanted an answer to your question about why their music is depressing and angry?? probably because not all music is all lovey dovey and hippydippy. and wouldnt it be quite boring if all the music was happy go lucky?? Id think so. lets all hop around like fruitcakes and twirl in circles and smoke pot and talk about peace and love when actually the world is very depressing.

 

I don't really like the new album, but they're pretty good overall.

anyway the world can be SAD, and sad moving songs can be briliiant. Like yesterday and behind blue eyes etc

 

NIN are awesome, one of my favorite bands right now, again! Its true that there music is often 'sad' but thats good sometimes, you need that i think . I forgot about Queens of the Stone Age in recent times, but it sux to hear they arent good anymore. LAter

 

Eh, they're all right, some good songs, Hurt is an excellent song. I almost went to see them once, but that was more because the Dresden Dolls were opening for them.

 

I'm going to see NIN in Nashville Halloween night...can't wait to see it.

It was an awesome show. I will without a doubt be going to see NIN again. The stage was pretty killer..I really enjoyed the lights. Hurt was definately the highlight of the show for me...it blew me away.

 

did they do anything else from downward spiral?? like reptile, or march of the pigs?? and how about from the first album?? like head like a hole, or terrible lie??

 

Went to the 11/5 Philly show and was completely blown away, easily the best show of my life even though QotSA and DFA 1979 sucked, here is the setlist:
