Nightmare On Chat Street ..

I need to find a doctor up here, mine is still down in Burlington. my family doesn't even live there anymore, so it doesn't really make sense, especially with another kid coming next month.

we are taking advantage of the nice weather and heading out to the pumpkin patch in sturgeon with the little one today, I think she'll enjoy it.

 

we're not really doing a traditional thanksgiving dinner tonight. I think I'm going to make salmon, and pasta with roasted butternut squash and caramelized onions.

 

Went to a new (to me) rink to play hockey this morning. Get there and only 2 cars in the lot. Since I never was there I don't know if I got a wrong schedule or was in the wrong lot or not many people play there.
Guy opens the door and says a compressor broke over the weekend and the ice is a mess so no hockey today.
The fact that I wasted a couple gallons of gas didn't bother me much. The real annoying part was I came back from delmarva a day sooner just to make it there to finally play some hockey this year.
(Yeah I played a game a couple weeks ago, but damn I used to play 3 times a week 8 years ago...now it's a struggle to find ice time.

 

No fights, no cheating, no drunken loud mother in law.

Everything went perfectly.

It was really a good time.

Went to Halloween store. Bought a little box of lights (100ct)

Marked down 40% already. 6 bucks and change. Seems a little early for that big a mark down. I'm not complaining just surprised.

23 more days to Halloween.

 

Many of those places have to be cleared out by the 1st, short lease and all. Sales start early.

 

not toooo metioooon that they put a ''marked down'' tag on it to begin with.....they never sold it for the higher price to start

 

They do sell some cool stuff though... Junk, yeah, but stuff you can't get year around.

 

Sometimes it's a big buy of last year's stock..

My daughter's new shop has its official opening Halloween, costumes etc.. can't wait.. I'm looking to have a boa around my neck, she is only 8 ft, but a bit heavy.. and later I'm taking a dragon for a walk.. my costume is awesome, should get some brilliant photographs..

 

home depot has some giant inflatables and a pretty scary tall pumpkin head looking motherfucker that would seriously scare someone in the middle of a dark road the middle of the night..

 

spent $2,100 in home depot yesterday. pretty kicking smart fridge sold me with its blue interior lighting, black vinyl exterior and only 950$ other one I was looking at was $1,300 ..
the rest I spent on other shit....

 

maybe you should cut the kid some slack...it cant be easy staying thin when you are that tall

I guess a smart fridge tells you when you are out of milk.... It would have to, with blue lights because you wouldn't know by looking.

 

i dont even remember the model ., gf took a picture.. Ive it on hold anyway til im finished making a mess in there. last mess i think today running wire to over head fixture.. bitch metal sheeting wire would not pull thru the joist. had to knock out additional plaster .. its old work so it hasnt any need for code as long the wire gets to the switch and fixture .. 80F standing on a ladder was no fun. thankfully should be my last knock out plaster and I can begin to dry wall that ceiling tomorrow. probably order sink in the next couple week .. flooring and im finished..

 

I'll probably still be working on my kitchen next year....

 

Ha, oh that would be too normal for my daughter..
