Nightmare On Chat Street ..

i put socks on this morning (had to start wearing socks again last week)...but dont feel like wearing the heavy boots and my shoes are still drying out from cleaning the swamp outta them since tuesday nights forest adventure so im wearing socks with sandals...and it feels weird but is actually kind of comfortable

 

i do that all the time. concerts Ill carry a clean paid of socks cause it gets cold in the evening .. nothing like a clean pair of dry socks..

I tossed my tennis shoes into the washer and dryer at the laundromat .. come out cleaner than I expected. should get another month out of them..

 

i just hose mine out or soak in a bucket with bleach if its really dirty

then leave them outside to sun dry

 

I haven't had tennis shoes in decades. Probably since high school. Miss those days of lacing the shoes so they were totally loose to come off. Not even tied at the top.

Now I live out of my work shoes.

i used to wear work shoes too

kind of sucks now because when i drop something i completely lost my reflex to move my foot away ...with steel toe you never care about dropping shit

Boots...

 

i find boots are too heavy and im already carrying enough body weight

my work boots are only used for atv rides or hunting when i remember

wasnt wearing them on last hunt adventure because they were still wet from my atv ride with neighbour the day before

 

ttbomk I havent wore boots in 20 yrs now.

the almost full moon on tuesday night saved me from spending a whole lot of time lost in the bush

once the moon came out i was able to tell people what direction i was headed and we used it to guide me back the right way

cant even imagine what id gone through if i didnt have my cell phone...no data plan but even if i did i dont think the data service worked there..even the basic signal was zero and sometimes 1 bar
