I hate them fucking assholes. if the military was SOOOOOOOO important. What the fuck are they civilians for now?
Ive never got a free meal, no pancakes, no coffee.. As far as Im concerned give that to someone that needs it more than some fucking veteran with a GIVEMEDAT attitude.
News ran story about a Army Sgt that come home and his renter destroyed his house.. Oh big SGT cant raise up and do things on his own, man the fuck up and get over it.... Had to get the news involved.

fuck....2 vehicles just drove by my house had to be doing double the speed limit at least.....i'm pissed.....I have a new neighbor and him and jis friends come my way because our road is smoother than his way....I am tempted to go over to his house and ask him if these guys came from his house?

 

I know it's a very tough job but yes some people are dicks about it. Every day one branch of them would be at my high school. They always left me alone when I said "no thanks would rather not be shot". A smart ass hippie reply.

Driving is crazy. I love it, doing speeds sometimes. Speed is awesome, even on my bike, just cruising. Dangerous and chance fully up.

Lost a friend to a car crash last week. Him and his dog were killed when he crossed the yellow line at night, hit a semi with 40ft trailer. I found out that morning, got 15 minutes to digest the news, not surprised, but its still tragic. I'm not going to the funeral tomorrow. My little brother is, so I drive him halfway tomorrow morning. I hate the social part of funerals. I just don't go to any of them. I'll give my regards one on one later.

 

I've raced a few guys on the highway when I should not have. Then I get yelled at that I'm going to kill someone by the missises. She is probably right but I too like speed. I don't want to send anyone to a funeral though. I did so much dumb shit as a teenager in a car though I am amazed I survived. A lot of people never make it that far.

I don't go to funerals anymore. It stopped after so many deaths of friends fighting cancer.

My motorcycle buddy that died. I didn't go to funeral.
There was a party at the bar with everyone and drank, stories, laughed, good times. That's a funeral to be at.....

I just stiffed a sneeze because of what I said in What's Happening (need to keep quiet). Now my head hurts.

Kinda random, but since I last stopped by, I decided to start stretching my ears (you know, gauged earrings). Anyway, not a huge deal, not going drastically large, but I fell into some free jewelry from my sister-in-law and so have been attempting. I still need a few sizes in between though, so ordered those and am waiting now. I really like the last purchase tho. Like swirly question marks. Probably have a name for em, but I'm outta touch.

 

When my son was in high school, they had to take some tests. I didn't know then but they had to be tests for the military. This recruiter, specifically for the Air Force (if I remember correctly) appeared at my house after calling me from my son's high school...so they could verify who he was.

Anyway, that began a damn bunch of aggravating visits where I TOLD him I saw a war coming in one of those little countries in the Mid East ... and oh yeah IT HAPPENED. I told him I could be patriotic right here at home in the US and that I would ALWAYS encourage my son to feel the same way!

He literally accused me of not being patriotic...and I began to "splain" some things to him. That would have been about his 4th or even 5th "visit" to get my son to agree to
"give them a try...sign up with them".

I forgot he was an "impressive" (to himself) military recruiter man and told him he best stay the damn hell away from my son and that he was not welcome in my home nor around me nor mine. fucking period.

 

I imagine OJ at Dennys saying a customer in the next booth.. "Ive got eggs for your grits"...

It seems like we don't have that many left in my mother's family...but compared to other families we were less than others in numbers always. My mother's family's generation stopped with the 10 children thing. for real. Which is not that usual because people her age were still having loads of children...anyway...

It seems like there were times/years I also didn't go to funerals, and then I don't know what happened...I started going to funerals because I knew someone else there needed me, or I wanted to honor them or something. I don't go to a funeral now just because I knew a person; but; because I have a connection and someone needed me to be there.

Still sorry to hear about it.

Not a family member.

My brother lives close to me now after leaving a state he was in for a few years. He doing the oxford life cause he on DOC (probation basically) for 3 years. I got him into the house right next to the one i was in. I have not shared his story in depth.

So im taking him half way to drop him off, meet up with family, so he can attend the social gathering.

 

I'm thinking since its your brother you're helping out, that's good.

Call me ridiculous but I don't think giving somebody (other than a serial killer) a ride ever hurt the driver.

A ride is good to help your family with.

You also have a larger family than me, and I think having family is really good.

Of course I know family can be over-rated, at least blood family. lol

after my uncles died, theres not much holding together or cracking down on the crackheads so to say. .. them people are so stung out and mixed up its not even funny. wont be long before my aunt dies and they flee without the free rent and utilities. and hopefully strip the house of copper when they leave so its no good to anyone else.
