Sage is simply my name. I know that can't work out/remember someones name they shorten their user name, so I cover both bases. Phoenix has several reasons... 1) For the new start on these forums 2) I'd been going through some personal stuff and felt reborn. 3) It's part of my chosen name anyway 4) I have very hardcore crush on Joaquin Phoenix. I picked the name BlackGuard cuz I have always liked the definition of it, so predictable and typical of any older dictionary definitions with the word black in them. 13 in roman numerals, cuz I like the look of the XIII, and as for 13.....My mom and brother were born on the 13th. My fiance and I had our first date on the 13th, we are 13 yrs apart, she was 13x2= 26 and I was 13x3= 39 when we got together, and my mom was 13x4 = 52 when she died, I was born at 6:34 AM 6+3+4=13, on the 15th day of the second month, 15-2=13. And I really like the idea of a 13 month calendar, cuz then all the months could be the same length, 4 weeks, and we would all be able to tell what day of the week any future date would fall on, which is impossible now. 13 states, 13 at the last supper, and on October 13th (Friday), 1307, the Knights Templar were all arrested at dawn and tortured to death. Also, it goes well with BlackGuard cuz it is supposed to be unlucky, for elevators anyway........ So my handle basically means unlucky scoundrel, vagrant, or criminal. Fits me just right.
