A lot of hippies go by nicknames and such, and I was recently given one by an "old hippy." He said, "You have so much light I am going to call you Luz." I've never heard the term before, and Google referenced a couple Biblical cities that either went by that name or is thought to have been called that name. I don't really understand. Any insights?
It was through a text message that he said it, and that's how he spelled it. I'll eventually ask him but I wanted to pretend to be 'in the know.'
It's Spanish for light. I like lux better, but who am I to complain. It's a pretty sweet compliment to be given from an old timer.
