I am rather obsessed with Nick Cave at the moment. Never before have I heard such amaing songs that reflect so much chaos, pain, despair and the all-encompassing beauty that love can bring. I have to say I think I prefer his love songs to his more narative poems. My Favourites being 'Into My Arms', '(Are You) The One I've Been Waiting For?' and 'Nobody's Baby Now'. Mr. Cave really is a strange yet amazing man!
i heaven't heard a lot of his songs, but 'he wants you' and 'as i sat sadly by her side' are excellent.
I really like the Bad Seeds. My favorite songs are "He Wants You," and "Dead Man In My Bed." DMIMB is kind of a departure from his usual style, but it's all good.
Ooo! I heard The Birthday Party for the first time today...I was very impressed. Not quite the Bad Seeds, but still damn good!

I haven't heard his stuff much, but I've a friend who's a big Cave fan and played some for me, and I liked what I heard. I especially like his lyrics, they tend to have a poetic Morrison-esque quality.
