Slaves are not expensive they are not human. For example do you know where "soul food" comes from. It's because the slaves had to eat the parts of the animal considered trash. So there is zero cost there they were going to throw it away. You have to build a cheap house for them once. Chances are they made their own house. Again free labor.

Not loyal or work too slow? Just beat them they can not go anywhere else unless they escape. If you kill them get another. A new ni***r is an expense but worth it if the new one is not lazy. It's all upfront cost and an investment for you the plantation onwer. No annual fees just feeding of trash.

More alt-right nonsense from you. "the white people had to be nice or there was a revolt so like the market just worked itself out man".

You have a very silly idea of a free market economy existing when there is no market.

If your idea was true we would see true equally and not slavery. We should see benevolence. Instead we read documents from that time that say it's a white man's burden to care for them as you would live stock. They have the mark of Cain (their skin) so God does not give them love either. They are for your use as an ox or horse is for your use. The white man is the one with the brain so we owe it to them to give them purpose. Shockingly similar to your opinions today. Without the work we give them they would kill each other. Said in 1860 and said by the alt-right now.

Yes they are. They are describing a social reality of the time in America. It's not describing what a black person is. It's describing the opinion of the time. Taken out of context sure it's "racist" to say. Hopefully other posts are clear that is not my opinion.

Socialist tax structures are perhaps easier for Europeans since they don't have this racial divide. It's weird I've heard them say everything is about race in America. And yeah it kind of is I guess in some places. Part of that is being so quote out of context things like this. Racism to some people seems to be white guy who says other races are victims. This means he does not respect them as equals. I suspect you are one of those people. I don't see it like that. It's not hard to end racism if people wish to. It still exists though. 100% of people are just not going to that in society right now. Most of them are white men who think they should not have to do anything in the first place.

Racism is an obstacle to socialism in America. It's the idea deep down a good percent of your country men are like you. We have a lot of brown and black people. Many of them speak Spanish. It's an upsetting cultural concept if you want "your" tax to help those people.

Hopefully after a few years of socialist health care and education the average American gun owner will calm down a bit. English is not going anywhere, white people are not going anywhere. Those socialist Mexicans helped pay for my new hip. We were pretty "socialist" in the 50's too as far as tax on income and health care costs. It's not really a dirty word. It's been blown out of proportion.

I like some expensive shit but I don't need a billion dollars. 999 million is more than enough. Society does not really need that kind of wealth. You can think you can have it for yourself or "anyone" can in a free market perfect world. It's not like economically. Good ideas and markets are cornered and society can be under their control. Amazon, oil and rail roads, Microsoft. You can really compete with that and everyone needs it. Bill Gates gives a lot of his money away but the much of the other 1% gives nothing or a small percent.

The Middle class can have certain expectations in America they do not. Socialism is not an unhealthy idea for a society. It can have a healthy dose of Capitalism in some areas but the free market can not be trusted in all areas. The people have certain rights with socialism. There is only so much money in society. If you are a Amazon sort of guy society essentially owns you. Your wealth is so outside the norm and so dependent on everyone on Earth that we are just going to take large amounts of it. You will still have lots of money. If you don't like it OK, don't invent Amazon and make a million a year as a great software designer. You will pay a lot less in a socialist tax system because a million is a lot but not that much compared to billions.

Through private free market insurance I pay for the risk and healthcare of others. Even if I never use it I pay.
Through goverment healthcare. I pay for the risk and health care of others. Even if I never use it I pay but less than the cost of the private insurance for the same time.

That's "socialism". It does not mean the Amazon guy is not pretty rich. Society is turning on the rich. They are learning how the system is rigged. Markets are cornered, little guys bought out. The true free market does not exist on the billionaire level. You are either there or you are not. Even Hollywood rich is not at the level of income socialism controls.

Don't worship these people thinking you could have it. The proletariat shall rise. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. There can be income levels with limits. Success in society is dependent on others.

Racism, like socialism, is just another form of collectivism.

If you think that black and brown people need tax funded handouts to survive and make it in this country, then you’re a bigot with low expectations.

Not only does your post history show that you despise white people, but you also think that black and brown people are too inept to make it without a hand out.

Cool, now redistribute your “expensive shit” first. I’ll wait.

you do realize that rich people don’t put that kind of money into bank accounts. Right? Much of their wealth is invested in stocks, bonds, real estate, precious stones and metals, etc.

Ah yes, how Bernie Sanders of them
Socialism, like Bernie Sanders, is anti-charity

Ok so you admit socialism discourages entrepreneurship and innovation. Good to know.

There’s a good saying that goes like this:

“If you want to prolong a disaster, bring in the relief workers. If you want to end a disaster, bring in the entrepreneurs.”

“I hopped fences, crawled under barbwire, dodged bullets, escaped detainment, and went days without food or water to escape the horrors of free market capitalism.” — said no person ever.

This has been said for many of the times socialism was ever tried.

You're doing several dishonest assumptions here.
    1) if a person sees the use of certain tax funded benefits for people of certain minorities it does not mean they think people of this minority are less capable on itself. They're in certain conditions why they qualify.

Arguing for stopping a tax funded benefit alltogether because a small percentage of those who get it abuse it/don't qualify indicate low expectations. Didn't you argue for that? ;)

Secondly, and a common mistake/tactic from alt right tools; being critical about white people's position in our societies doesn't equal hate, self hate or that they despise their own race/ethnicity. I would say this is low to assert too. But thanks for playing.

Humans are a pack animal and we are better together. I don't see a problem with living as a pack. Success can not be achieved 100% on your own. You need an infrastructure of society. So I don't agree with the ignorant and selfish nature of the "my own boot straps" mentality. Amazon can't deliver to you with the internet period or things like the postal service and roads. Did Amazon invent that? They did not yet they have billions since someone else did.

I'm Nordic white to the point that a literal Nazi women (I assume since she has a swastika tattoo at least) told me we would make strong children. How could I hate myself? It's quite a stretch to say I hate white people. I don't hate anyone. I dislike ignorant people who feel as a white person they are a victim just because someone else is getting a chance. They don't "need" hand outs in the sense that I think they can't work or anything like that. They do need handouts in the sense that many of them are dealing with an uphill ecominc battle. The chances you think are just there for anyone who works are just not sometimes.

So we need to make sure they have some shots in life. We do this though funding small business in the ghettos just to name one example. It's not easy to get a loan in areas like that so there might not be jobs close to the home. There also might be drug dealing and other crime that make it hard for good people. None of this is hate to a race it's just seeing the world as it is. I choose not to blame them and the right wing does. To them any issue is always your fault since glorious capitalism will make everyone a millionaire.

And that's why white people get so upset. There is a perception that they have to worked hard and it's unfair others do not. Your post history would suggest this idea. It's why taxes and any sort of PC stuff is bad correct? It takes away from people's work ethic and does a disservice to them and to you. It would be unfair 150 years after slavery to say a black person can't do anything. And on this moral high ground right wingers gloat. I do agree anyone can do anything if they work but I also agree it's easier for me as a white guy right now.

I think it's a common naive argument to say one who likes socialism has to have nothing nice. To see only capitalism as fulfilling your own selfish desire.

Honestly I am not a fancy person. I wear new business casual cloths since I have to for my job. I spend money on that so I get paid. I don't care for fancy food, watches etc. What I spend my money on is cars and concerts. So I don't have much to give. I guess I could share my full refrigerator. I suppose what you want is for me to say I don't want to sell my cars? You are right I don't. It's a selfish toy for me and it does not really help anyone. I could have given that money to a charity and I spent it on myself in a selfish way. However, I do give money to charity and I think limit myself on many things. If I was ultra wealthy most of it would be given away and not in the false goodwill way the 1% do where the number seems large to us only yet it gets them a larger tax break and most important goodwill in a time when the proletariat is against them. I do work so I can enjoy life which is an ideal you would like I guess. I earn it myself. But I'd also give it away to help someone else.

They sell luxury goods in Europe. So it would seem that with their tax structure people still have money for things they don't need and no one is forced to give anything away. If I was wrong you would think all those famous fashion and car manufactures would come to the US. You seem to not admit that socialism is working in dozens of countries. All this "it's tried" nonsense. Yeah it has you are right and it's not the USSR.

I'm not sure why you think I said socialism is not good for entrepreneurs. If anything a hardcore capitalist system discourages that more. Through the rigging of the market there are monopolies.

“I hopped fences, crawled under barbwire, dodged bullets, escaped detainment, and went days without food or water to escape the horrors of free market capitalism.” — said no person ever

I don't know about that. Plenty of people are leaving America now. It's not a war zone but that's another tired alt-right analogy. People are also not trying too hard to enter America now unless they have to. Mexicans HAVE to and the French do not. They are content with socialism.

Outside of Central America can you name a country people are fleeing now for no good reason other than a tax system that oppresses them AKA socialism ?

These students, who are running from their unreasonable student loans, come to mind:

Debt Dodgers: Meet the Americans Who Moved to Europe and Went AWOL on Their Student Loans

Sure, they didn't have to run away from guys with rifles. But the banks back home almost persecute their family members in retaliation.
