Thank you. It's part of my story. Anyway...I got started on crafting Christmas ornaments very late this year...like today! The citrus fruit took forever to dry out. I won't be able to complete them and make them look like this until I can get some clear glitter. This is a pic of someone else's. I made 5 pine cones that look like these. I've collected lots of them in various sizes so I'll have them to work on yet. Actually, I can use them for January decorations if I do that again this year. When I'm feeling "smart" I like to do a little decorating with some kind of monthly theme; at least on the front door and entry area of the house.
Ari, I am so sorry....It must be very hard for you. Some people have a lot of burden to bear.....but your words about anew are wonderful.... sometimes the hurt feels like it going to kill you....I know. Hugs and love to you.....
Thanks, Moony. You know, we're are so much more capable of coming through difficulties than we give ourselves credit for. We're are capable of being remarkably strong. Look at the Willow. It weeps and weeps but storms don't break it because it's strength is in it's flexibility.
hahaha I think I have used all my likes on your posts today! So true about the willow. You are very wise.
and all of nature and animals...no deceptions ever, as there are with people. Not only are we flexible but we are very strong.....
Thanks for sharing Aeri. Mom died December 5, 2008 from Alzheimer's. Losing her has changed Christmas ever since. On a lighter note I bought a pinecone ornament with glitter at the nursery this year. Every time I take it out of the bag there is glitter everywhere. Why do I always forget how much I hate glitter?
((Hugs)) Specs, maybe you could try spraying it lightly with some aerosol adhesive. I've never tried that though.
It's Christmas Eve here. If you were to receive a special Night Before Christmas Box, what would be in it???
Okay, I'll go first. If I was to receive a Night Before Christmas box it would have a bottle of Vicodin and somebody I haven't spent time with in too long! Now, what would be in your box?
My night before Christmas had a bottle of scotch and good company with new friends. Now I need a bex and a good lie down!
