http://www.flaxandtwine.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/egg-flowers-50.jpg a little off topic, but there is beautiful nature involved; these decoupaged Easter eggs with real pansies on them. Aren't they pretty? I wish I could make them.
Some of my favourite scented flowers, all of which I have grown at some stage over the years. (Obviously not my pics) Hyacinths Gardenia Oriental Lillies
Outstanding flowers! Here is a unique view on some http://my-spiritual-therapy.tumblr.com/image/113377184971 (won't let me upload most of my images lately cuz too large....I wish I were better at this :-/)
Flowers are one of my weaknesses. I have always wanted to work in a floral shop. Actually, I want to own a bridal boutique that sells gowns and does the flowers for the wedding. I'd have so much fun with that... I'd even like to grow the flowers!
^ growing your own flowers is great fun, seeing them grow. But then I hate to pick them from the garden.
You are reminding me of this bridal party who came into the salon where I used to work many years ago (as a receptionist) to get their hair done. They had fresh-cut flowers woven into their hair and it was really gorgeous! I always thought if I got married I would like to do that; however, I guess that style was a thing of the 90's. I'm not much on fashion; I think flowers in the hair are pretty anytime
They definitely are! I remember my grandmother always had daffodils, tulips, roses, lilies of the valley and a lilac tree. (also blackberry bushes, apple and plum tree and garden) Cherished memory: the lilac scent wafting into the windows on a breezy day
It will be a while before they are coming up here. I did plant more at Mom's grave last fall so I am anxious to see what all comes up this year.
