travelling with my mom.

not sure where we're staying yet, but hoping to find a good spot downtown.

we'll be there from july 20th to the 26th.

um - anyone know of the cheapest and a relatively fast way to go to paris, from london?

opinion question: what do you do if you're into electronic music, and want to party, but you'll be travelling with your mom and are too chicken to leave her alone for one night b/c she won't have anyone to hang with, except myself - b/c i *know* i'm friendly enough to make new friends... maybe even like you !
maybe i should compromise; go out for a part of the night?

Hi all,

I've introduced myself on the main pages and have found my way with the guidance of some friendly UK members to here. So, a little aout me...

I'm 27 and live in NE Lincolnshire. I have spent the last 3 years working and living in Taunton, Somerset but then quit to go backpacking in India. I had a great time and can't wait to continue travelling and will be off again soon.

This country drives me nuts with it's insane politics and peoples materialistic obsessions...don't get me started!

Life's great when you have your walking boots on and are miles away from anywwhere. But it's even better when you have a friendly camp to share stories with at the end )

So that's me, I think. I look forward to meeting some like minded folk here, I've had little luck elsewhere in this small-minded, racist town I reside in at the moment!
