Just stick it in a colored film cannister in your purse or camera bag with some others....I don't think they search that thoroughly....

I'm sure they wouldn't be able to detect a few grams hidden in a small canister of peanut-butter.

hehe...but how could you justify bringing a jar of peanut butter? They might check to see if it's opened or still sealed or whatever......

Just look at them crazily and say:
"I get lonely without my peanut-butter".

bring some crackers with you and the peanut butter. maybe some jelly to. then there would be no reason to ask you y you have peanut butter if it is open.

though the new train security may be an annoyance and it was nice to be able to carry whatever pot/alcohol you wanted w/ no questions asked, it is probably a good thing they are adding some security to those trains. it really was completely non-existent and a very easy terrorist target as i presume it will continue to be. it's a shame but it really is necessary for them to up the security on those trains.

I have heard from some LEO's (Law enforcement officers) on other boards that Amtrack actually has a really really good security team. And they are actually a law enforcement agency not just rent a cops.

They have undercovers posing as passengers, that's about the only thing you should be concerned with.
