new to rap.. recomendations?

    Damn man, I totally forgot about Bone Thugs haha. East 1999 is classic. Also, in case he hasn't been mentioned already, Big L's "Lifestyle ov da poor an dangerous" is another album that people seem to miss.

    i'm not talking about your post, it's a response to the thread title

    i just don't 'get rap'. the odd bit is okay i guess

    but mostly everything on the radio is about some black guy wanting to do other things to another black guy

    and then different things to the latterly mentioned black guys girlfriend. the former must get very tired.

    but it is regrettably the stuff that gets the attention
