I asked that question to someone who moderates these places and they said there is some correlation between your activeness and the number of posts.

So today I went over and really really tried to peer through the plastic, I tapped a couple of droplets til they fell and created a tiny opening. After about 5 minutes of peering around, I finally saw a teeny tiny green dot! Then I looked next to it and on either side was another green dot! I couldn't find others but I couldn't see much more of the planter, so I'm pretty sure I have at least 3/11 spouted seeds!

    Now the questions...
Now that I know that the seeds are sprouting should I be doing anything differently, I was going to wait until the 3 week mark until I even opened the plastic for the first time. When should I add any water, poke any holes, or change the amount of sunlight they receive.

So happy something is actually growing!!

EDIT: Just double-checked and there are at least 6 little seedling growing! :)

Awesome! Seeing those first little seedlings coming out is fantastic. :D

I would wait at least 3 weeks until you do anything, like you said. On this batch which I started last, which seem to be pretty happy, I didn't add any water under the plastic for about the first 4 weeks, after which the soil started looking a little dry so I would open up the plastic and mist the soil so as to make sure the cacti wouldn't dry out.

I would generally just keep an eye out for when the top layer of soil went dry to see when I would have to water them.

I only started poking holes at about 8 weeks into the process, so I really wouldn't worry about that yet.

As for a change in sunlight, just leave them unless you start to see some of them burn or stretch too far. Cacti taking on a light orange/red tone are burnt and consequently need less sunlight while cacti that are stretching out far (like some of mine did) need a little bit more sunlight.
