No, but shouldn’t it be called 'The New, New Perry Mason' since in addition to the Raymond Burr courtroom drama of the 1960s,(which I watch daily on MeTV,) there was the easily forgotten New Perry Mason series back in the 1970s.
I like it quite a bit. I was expecting a courtroom drama but It is more of Film Noir style detective drama. Not sure why it’s called the new Perry Mason other than to draw people in to watch it it.
Well I grew tired of the courtroom dramas, so this sounds like something I'd like. I do prefer actioners to the dramas. Thanks for the recommendation
not seen it but the Perry Mason character created by Erle Stanley Gardner in the novels was a much younger man than the lawyer played by Raymond Burr in the classic tv series, which I think ran for 9 years on CBS in the 1950s-1960s.
