Just read about zohydro commin out march 1st. guess its hydro but way stronger and with not time released coating. gonna be crazy for you hydro luvers eh. apparently stronger than normal hydro and equal to oxy strength. would like to know if anyone gets this in the future so keep us posted gents/gals. be safe....
Why do I get the feeling this is some kind of (more sly than usual) advertising tactic? May not be but that's what it reminds me of.. lol. Carry on.
Oh, there will be a bunch die from it, accompanied by "we had no idea these would be so dangerous" after Pharma rakes in the dough. And why do pharmaceutical companies advertise on TV asking people to "ask your doctor if ----- would work for you?"- (he asks rhetorically)
Well, if a bunch of people who are only used to hydro (and a bunch of them) start consuming these new ones like they are the same and they are about equal to oc's then yea.... But you know, the thing that has always gotten me about hydro and codeine etc., is why they mix them with Tylenol... considering how easy Tylenol is to o.d. on? Yea, I know.. I know... ppl are only supposed to take a certain amount, but they know full well many people will take extra so why put the Tylenol in there? Esp because.... let's just say (don't know if this is true or not), Tylenol helps the medication work better or something like that... than a doctor could just tell people "and take 500 mg, or whatever, of Tylenol with this"--- it wouldn't NEED to be added to the actual pills. Just seems like THAT would stop some people from dying. And just seems too logical to me... like anyone who makes them really cares.. hm, dunno. (and yes, I am aware that there are ways-extraction-to get the Tylenol out... but a lot of people don't know how to do that or aren't gonna bother)...
lol, not at all advertising. read about it on yahoo last night. kinda surprisd that it wasn't brought up earlier.
Haha, I really had no clue if it was or not. Thought it was a pretty smart way to word things if you were. I was never huge into pills. The last kind hybrid like pill I got was an Opana.. I actually am not super impressed by the strength of oxys.. both op's or oc's really. The only pills that I used to get that I really thought were worth it for me were dilaudids... but in any case, these new ones are hydro but just much stronger?
well thank you. that's interesting I have had dilaudids after a knee surgery and they really didn't do anything for me which I thought was weird. yea guess they are hydro with no tylenol. either way I could care less cuz I prolly wont get prescribed them lol
What mg were the D's? Were they 8 mg's? Anything less than that I wouldn't find worth it. Anyways, with D's I always found they give you a very nice, very decent rush.. but only the first time- meaning if I'd do a little and then a little more later (anything less than 4-6 hours later), it would be a waste but a bigger amount before you have any in your system, the rush would be great. In any case.. yea, that's cool if these new ones are w.out the Tylenol. That's always the thing that annoys me the most about the pills that have Tylenol...just, why?
believe it or not, Opiate Pills work best in pain management when coupled with other drugs . be it,, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, and the muscle relaxer family..
I don't remember the dilaudids strength. just new that after a few to help with the pain they didn't do shit. maybe if I took more they woulda done something....
Time release isn't a coating, ever... Zohydro is an extended release form of Hydrocodone... Nothing special besides the dosage.
Oh, I missed this post before... Well, I figured that may be the case, or why else would they often add things like acetaminophen? However... my thinking is that, w that being true, it would be possible for a doctor who rx's the painkiller to just add "and take whatever mg's of acetaminophen with it"... just being that they have to know some people will take above recommended dose of pills and then the Tylenol etc can be very bad. (Yea, the more I think about it the more I realize they would prolly say "well, that would just encourage people to abuse them"... something along those lines...but my point is, ppl already do)
true. because people are taking Motrin and Tylenol anyways OTC, giving them more to take isnt a good idea. I do however miss PERCODAN an aspirin with 2types of opiates .. oxycodone terephthalate and oxycodone hydrochloride.. I often felt prehistoric taken these babies.
I remember Percodans (compared to percosets). liked the Dans better. I hadn't seen one of them since... the early 2000's... Anyways, and not just that, but have you noticed in the past 6 months or so (??) that they have changed the maximum dosage for a day on Tylenol? It's much less. They found out it's much more toxic on the liver than previously thought...at smaller amounts. Being preg. that's the only type of painkiller I can take now for headaches (no ibuprofen, aleve, aspirin, etc), and I get headaches a lot so I try to be careful to take it when it's really needed...
Guess no big deal but in the article it seemed like everyone was up in arms bout this new pk due to being crushable. But if I'm not mistaken doesn't all hydros avail now contain acet or no? This one doesn't so at higher doses then that's good for folks where hydro works better for them as opposed to oxy.
Very tru. It's almost like the added OTC pk is there so that one would think twice about abusing it. But you gotta ask your self if someone is gonna be as crazy enough to iv a pill, you think they gonna care if they happens to take too much acet or whatever? Like heroin users don't want to od, but it happens sometimes whether you like it or not so I think some people can care less if they take more tylenol than recommended.
The grapevine game. I'm gonna copy this thread and post it in a professionals group. It's a 12 hour hydrocodone. Since I said the same thing about this that I did the subo/morphine combo, it will be rich to post it exactly, out of the public speak with all the promises and superstitions. Part of my statement was "...the internet will be on fire! We will need call centers!" and the rest is not for this discussion but none the less.... I do not think it will kill as many as they might hope and the tylenol is in it to be a conjuctive - it works better with it for regular people.
To me this is a move to get oxy off the streets. It gives an easy alternative. Yeah, the lack of tylenol is pretty awesome. Though, for people that use it for recreation I don't see it being much benefit. It is awesome that there is less risk and it is more healthy. I don't see anyone choosing hydro over oxy. If oxy were prescribed then hydro will be from now on. So to me this is more bad news than anything. Now there is a competitor for oxy. The gov. has been trying to get oxy prescriptions down and this is an easy way to do that. Now it has a competitor there will only be less oxycodone (oxycontin, percocet, percodan, etc..) preparations prescribed... I think it is bad news. Good for hydrocodone, bad for oxy and the drug market. It's not like they are going to be putting out more opiates, just different ones. Only so many people have a prescription. ya dig?
Many things are done under the guise of being a deterrent even though though it doesn't work or make sense.
