New On Canadian Passports - Male, Female Or X

Something new in Canada. Starting August 30th 2017, Canadians will be able to identify as neither female nor male on their passports. I don't have a passport currently but if I were to get one I would prefer to mark an X for my gender because I have an intersex condition. This will also work for trans persons while in transition. It will be interesting to see how this pans out in other countries.
