Several times I've watched a trailer for a 2008 film and thought "Shit. This is one badly cut trailer." I've never paid attention to how a trailer is made but some of these new trailers just drag and are weird. Plus the misleading trailers, "Pride and Glory" is a great example. It gives everyone the idea that Colin Farrell and Ed Norton are brothers in the movie. They are not. Some new ones are good, though. I get kind of a shiver during good lines when the trailer is playing with the lights half-on and the surround system is blasting. Like the "Frost/Nixon" trailer, the end of it anyway. "I'm saying that when the president does it, that means it's not illegal." "I'm sorry?..." Badass. Now this is a trailer.
Also, that trailer is extremely derivative of the original Clockwork Orange trailer, which was better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EwT2JHDENE
I saw it months ago and don't remember it too well, so I won't dispute this. What I recall is that it's a movie about narcissistic, "morally corrupted" youth. If you're into that you should watch Bully, even though my friend Iliana won't agree with me.
I've been meaning to check that out. I wouldn't say I'm into that, I usually dislike college films and strongly dislike high school films. TROA is more than just a college movie, though. Bret Easton Ellis source material.
pfft. i'm really really excited about x-men origins wolverine or whatever it's called. FUCK YEAH! wolverine ... hugh jackman? hell yes. his brother... liev shrieber? hell yes. i'm in.
I like Sabretooth's new look but the height different between those characters should be more than a foot.
I'm not a comic nerd at all but the name Wolverine.. You know, a small but fierce predator? Al Pacino would have been the perfect Wolverine back in '75 or so except that's about the time the character was invented. Actually, even Pacino's too tall.
