Hi! How is everyone doing here? I'm new here too this forum. I used to be in education but no more. What do people think about public verses private education?
Both have good points... what do you think? I did one year of private high school, best year of my life!
Home schooled our children ..was wonderful. I was raised in public school. Many are leaning toward home and private education.
I had a really ugly introduction to the class exclusion and mentality with private schools at kindergarten age in Wisconsin. I spent my elementary school years in one room farm country public schools with mostly positive experiences. Came high school and I met some of my kindergarten classmates who were deemed appropriate for the private school I had been excluded from. With some exceptions they had honed their exclusive better than tho skills and were well on their way to a lifetime of snobbery. I cringe when I see then attack by the wealthy on DEI programs at various universities….shame. It’s the white privileged few who need special treatment….really? If states with substandard public education put money into to better public schools society would be better off. Charter schools Ewe!
