Well where to start,.......... I am new to the whole hippie world. You see I was raised by right wing parents. I always supported who they did. (Although I haven’t voted yet). When school let out this past summer I did some serious soul searching. Away from peers and other influences. I was out camping alone (I love the outdoors) and was just sitting there watching the sun rise and it hit me, I didn’t need to find myself. I needed to quit running from what I really was. I have always liked the music that came out of the 60s- 70s. Well I quit cutting my hair, researched bush and the war in Iraqi more closely. I found I don’t support the war. I support the solders just not the war. The solders don’t ask to go to war; they go where they are told. I support all current and ALL past solders 100%. And even though this had nothing to do with being a hippie I tried weed, found I love it. I truly believe pot is a gift from god. I live in the heart of the Bible belt so my hippie ways are not liked very much. When I am walking people yell, are yew a boy er a girl, are yeh sure. And other stuff like that. When driving I get weird looks for my grateful dead sticker on my window. I guess i am not the text book hippie, nore do i want to be. I just want to be me and live my life. Oh yeh and have fun to.!!!
