Yo, another 120 kcal unwasted just for you people....

But be PRE-WARNED!! this thread is only for conscious, aware people!

If you are sleeping your whole life and/or dont give a damn about whats happening around you then please do yourself a favour and leave this thread.

    Aware people keep reading :

Last night I caught the new so called "energy saving light bulbs" red-handed draining money out of my pocket while asleep (just woke up to piss...) ,
I noticed that they constantly blink even though you switch the light off.
Therefore I decided to throw them where they belong ---> into the mofo trash-can!!!

You might think thats a couple dollars you are wasting every month, I think big
and see a couple billion dollars wasted if you sum all the households worldwide up. This thing might be meaningless to you, to me it is meaningful! I have changed since 2016 and dont support this evil system which is only out there to destroy&exploit nature, humans, animals . We should not let them pull money out of our pockets while unaware.

Here is one photo of that bastard evil blood sucker , see below, i will break it to pieces before i throw it into the trash-can.

Given CFL bulbs contain mercury, be better to correctly recycle I’d have thought.

And if it’s “flashing” when it’s turned off, I’d recommend you get your wiring checked out by a qualified electrician

hi , no, my wiring and the house is new, it got nothing to do with it, they are programmed to do so, try it yourself , you will thank me, anyways i go back to the conventional light bulbs, i have tried the energy saving light bulbs in every single lamp, they just flash while it is switched off,

Those bulbs are rubbish.. in UK they are becoming obsolete..

    Get proper energy saving.

You put them in the trash? If they break, you released Mercury into your atmosphere..

You profess to know lots, you actually know nothing..

Or you sure would not have used those bulbs in the first place..

They certainly are useless. We changed to LED bulbs last year - amazing, can actually see again now :)

I hate replacing anything that is still working, but the problem with the wretched things is that they last forever but get progressively dimmer

David, I don't have the same issues you mention with these bulbs. I've been using them for years, and never have I seen these bulbs flashing at anytime. How do you know they are flashing if you are asleep?

Agree, I too have swapped to led 2 years ago, very expensive at the time, but my electricity bills are showing a difference, and not needed to place a bulb yet

Maybe the light bulbs are secretly trying to pasteurize your raw milk when you are asleep, thats why they are flashing

The UV radiation can penetrate your fridge, you need one of those radiation proof fridges like Indy had in Indiana Jones IV

If it's switched off there is no electricity going to the bulb... Off=off incase you didn't realize that.

This fact makes your observation and this thread complete bull....

Interesting. My home has those bulbs and they don't blink. It might be your lamp.

As usual its not only pure bull to toot his own horn, he also managed to squeeze some downright bad info into it:

So, good the proper advice followed right in the next post:
