new dreads =)

    Hi, question from a newbie. I think yours are my favorite dreads I've seen so far whilst researching. I t&r'd a couple right behind my ears the other day just for a test drive. I love that yours are rather thin and that's what I'm aiming for. The ones I ripped are bigger than I really wanted, but it was behind my head so I couldn't see how big the hair section was.

    What size section did you start with to backcomb?

    hi! welcome to the forum
    and thank youuuu :D

    the size section really depends on your hair tipe (thin, normal or thick), mine is normal and the sections were like 1.5*1.5cm (most of them). I tried to do rounded sections.
    And you can use 2 mirrors to see the back of your head, just make sure the one in the back is big so you don't have to move around to see the whole head.
    And use rubberbands to help with the sectioning, but make sure to get them out before you backcombed or t&r.
