New Didge!!

    Hey all i just bought my first didge. It was cheap only £25 but its not a tacky bamboo one. I dunno what wood it is but it has a natural wood shape (its not been straightned etc) and its painted black with carvings in it... heres a few piccies of her :)

    you know the first (and only time) i made a PB AND J sarnie ... i didnt realise that jelly was the american term for Jam ....... so i used real jelly... like jello i think u call it... :S i threw up :S

    nice, real nice, i love the where you're licking it, hehehe, if i have a didge i also would lick it, i heard it's very difficult to make it sound properly, tell us how ya doing ;)

    i have a didge!!!! i will post it when i get some pics of it...its from an australian tribe...and my dad brought it from there...its very pretty...just lik urs!!! I'm no good at it tho...

    sweet didge, fleassy!!! mine's a cheap one, but it's still pretty cool. i'm not that good at playing it, though. :p

    you do scare me sometimes fleass :D and there's nothing wrong with bamboo didge's!!! mine was only 10 quid :D though i've lent it to someone who can actualy play it :)

    hehe kier na ive just been told bamboo are prone to spliting .. :S sorry :S also they havnt got the natural wood shape and curve that make the right pitch or something *shrug*... dont ask me :p
    hehe i still cant beleive i thought jelly was jelly... you damn americans LEARN ENGLSH GOD DAMNIT and stop making me poison myself :p

    Hehe hey Inbloom if i coume over to canada and visit a few people i know i could bring my didge and we could meet up :) has lucy got one too it would be a didge threesome!!:p

    nice didge fleassy, do you play the didge or are you just learning. Earlier this year, last year 04, i learnt the didge, learnt alot of the native sounds, owl, kangaroo, dingo, kookaburra all ill say, practice practice practice, you only get better with practice. Good didging, Conor.

    At the moment im just learning i can do a basic droning and play about with the drone sound by moving my tounge etc, but im trying to get circular breathing too.
