ya, they get used.as fertilizer to.i never forget the time when i was small an mam caught me throwin a skin in the bin.jesus christ you'd think i was after murdering someone.ha! ha!it was ta be one of my first lessons in how my people died in black45-47,cos the potato blight.it was their main food,for dinner breakfast an supper,but cos a the blight on the spuds millions of my people died from starvation. r.i.p.it was a cruel famine.also some a the best vitimins in spuds is in the skin.so theres that to.

ME? Oh yes! I tend to peel thick,so the skins can be salted,then deep fried into wedges.
T'is absolutely scrumptious they are,with a big knob of melted butter and some grated cheese!
