On February 11, 2015, the Mille Lacs Messenger (MLM), a Minnesota county newspaper, published a letter of mine. It was given the title New age beliefs . The letter (presented below) is sequentially related to my January 21st MLM letter titled Christian Doctrine .

The last paragraph in my letter titled Christian Doctrine reads:

My ICTMN comment reads: "In piqua's post he (Newcomb) mentions that he believes that the Bible's Old Testament scripture [Psalms 2:8] provides the way of thinking (for the Christian Doctrine of Discovery): "Ask of me ['the deity of the Old Testament'] and I shall give to you the heathen for your inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession." If the source of this scripture is the supernatural entity whom this nation's Euro-American Christians believe in and serve (and I believe that it is), then separating these Euro-Americans from their evil supernatural "God" is the solution to the problem."

    New Age beliefs

There are truths revealed in the scientific discovery of evolution that contradict statements in biblical scriptures about the Creator and His creation. Genesis 1:31 says: "And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." According to Christians, the God of Abraham inspired this scripture and that it is, therefore, true, but science has proven that if it was inspired by the Christian God it is a lie. Evolution, from its origins, has been violent, brutal and very cruel. Before the first humans came forth on earth there had been five mass extinctions of animals.

St. John of Damascus wrote: "The creation of all things is due to God, but corruption came in afterwards due to our wickedness. 'For God did not make death, neither does He take delight in the destruction of living things' (Wisdom 1:13). But death is the work rather of man, that is, its origin is in Adam's transgression."

St. Basil the Great wrote: "It is customary for vultures to feed on corpses, but since [before Adam's transgression] there were not yet corpses, nor yet their stench, so there was not yet such food for vultures. But all followed the diet of swans and all grazed the meadows. Such was the first creation [it was originally 'pure', or 'very good'], and such will be the restoration after this."

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says: "Jesus came to restore creation to the purity of its origins."

Modern-day science has proven that this Catholic dogma is untrue and deceptive. Therefore, modern-day science has made the Catholic Church an out-dated church. A loving God would not create evolution. Therefore, Christianity is a fundamentally deceptive (or, false) religion.

Adam Hamilton is the leader of the largest United Methodist congregation in America. He wrote: In the Hebrew Bible we find God putting to death 70,000 Israelites to punish David for taking a census. We have God commanding Joshua to slaughter every man, woman and child in 31 entire kingdoms in the Canaan as a kind of offering to God. This is what, today, we would call genocide. God commands priests to burn their daughters alive if they become prostitutes. I cannot imagine God calling me to burn one of my children alive, regardless of what they had done. Other ancient near eastern people believed their gods also called them to slaughter entire cities as an offering to their gods.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ and believe in God the Father. However, I have a New Age Gnostic belief of who Jesus and God the Father are. There is a History Channel documentary presented on youtube.com titled, Biblical Mysteries Explained: The Lost Gospels . This documentary explains what the New Age Gnostic belief system is about. New Age Gnosticism utilizes Christian themes and names but is packaged with pagan and Hindu teachings, offering a much different Gospel . According to Gnostic philosophy, Jehovah/Yahweh, the God of Abraham, the Creator of the world, is not the ultimate Supreme Being, and is evil.

That's nice. How does it serve you to believe in evil?

Packaged being the operative word, as with most new age stuff. People want spirituality to be another consumer product.

I just realized that this is the same idea as put forth in the "Law of the One" or teachings of Ra.
