=p Cause I think you're funny. But you're right, pressed rat or Broony or glen.. That's who it should have poked fun at.
Exactly, pick someone who isn't flawless and doesn't have a great sense of humor instead! :2thumbsup:
Heh, as a Facebook user I can see what Irm was trying to do there. She just never had the meme picture to go with it. The actual meme I always see are of sports teams and when a team loses someone will edit the picture of a team to say "I tried to record the biggest loser, but it somehow recorded all of the Raiders games instead". And it's quite funny when it's not the team you support.

I agree with this but I also think it applies to a minority of Facebook users. I like Facebook because I have a large family of friends and we've all scattered in different directions in the last couple of years. Facebook makes it really easy to organize get together and make sure everyone is included. Logistics would be a nightmare if we tried to plan things through phone or text. I also use it to keep up with local shows and events. There are a few very narcissistic people on my Facebook who constantly post selfies or share every detail of their drama with the Facebook world. For the most part however the majority of my Facebook friends keep pretty quiet and only post to show their friends a little love, which isn't any different than sending an email or text. I have a couple of teenagers on my Facebook and they rarely use it. I don't really think its creating a generation of narcissists; I think the younger generation sees Facebook as something their mom and dad are into and therefore, not really that cool.
i made a few cant keep up with them. log in to collect coupons and free cosmetic shit , but hardly use my email. the internet is just entertainment to me. youtube , hippies, research.. i live bulletin forum set up anyways.. cant see any content on there, its like some china website..
Mines still existent. I haven't logged on in 2014 because I have other priorities, but it is good to keep in touch with people. You say there are other ways which is obviously true, but it makes it easier to keep in touch with people you might not otherwise. I've moved a lot, so its useful.
No I personally have had one. Nothing special. Especially since it focuses on friends of real life, and I don't have many.
I don't want to be part of it out of principle. I am also already (slightly, don't worry ) annoyed when I see people listing their favourite brands so I am really better off not joining. It's not worth the advantage of easy staying in contact for me!
It fills a need for some, not unlike what other boards do. You do have the ability to limit information on FB and only share what you wish to. I have one but rarely use it. Two posts were made last year on my page. I play a couple of the games, damn Candy Crush.
Your argument is sort of irrelevant when your trying to push "opinions" as your basis. Everything negative you said about facebook is true for some users, and opposite to others. I have it though, I find it a great way to keep in touch with friends, family, as well as i have abunch of photos ive been "tagged" in with friends i never would have had without facebook. Yes theres other ways to keep in touch but what do you do when you try to call an old friend and hear, "this number has been disconnected" facebook is an easy way to talk to almost everyone ive ever known. And with facebook you can just "check up" on old friends. I have old friends who i dont call daily just because we dont know each other any more... but its good sometimes to be able to see their doing great even though you have lost touch.
