It went pretty well, lol. I conducted an experiment before I did it though. I put an empty capsule in my mouth and timed it. The capsule opened at 50 sec. and was completely dissolved at 2 min. I hadn't had any Hydrocodone in 11 days. I've basically been getting by on Tramadol. So when that 20mg capsule hit me all at once it was great, man. It's cool that I can now make 20mg Hydrocodone caps. It's a little messy and time-consuming, but once I get a system down it should go smoothly. It's kind of like parachuting, I guess. I hated parachuting though because I was afraid of getting toilet paper lodged in my throat and developing an infection. I guess you could try it with Roxi's or whatever you use. That would be awesome. :2thumbsup:

Back in 2012 I lost my legs bellow the knee from frostbite. So sence than I have been on all sorts of different pain meds. Right now Im taking 600mg of gabapention 3 times a day. Well suposed to be taking only 1800mg a day. When I first get them I pop 10 right off the bat. It's definatly a nice feeling of relaxing an talking a lot. It's great when I run out of my hydro's. Anyway, I give gabapention 2 tumbs up. It's great when I mix the hydro's and gabapention.

Have you had problems with phantom nerve pain? And if so does Gabapentin work for that?

Yea, it seams to help. I tried Lyrica as well but that did'nt work for me as well as the Gabapentin did. Plus Lyrica was 290.00 for a months supply.

Damn, I had no idea it was that expensive. But I'm glad the Gaba works for you. I take it for diabetic neuropathy. It was getting really bad. Every kind of pain possible was going on in my lower legs and feet. The Gabapentin helps a lot with that. Not 100%, but it makes life more bearable, as well as the Hydro's for spinal nerve issues. And yes, Gabapentin at high doses seems to mask opioid withdrawal symptoms. Every month I run out of Hydros early. I used to buy extra meds from other people but shit that's expensive. So I stopped doing that and went to my doctor. He didn't increase my Hydro's because I'm at 50mg per day now, and pushing the limit for Acetominophen. So he gave me 120 Tramadol per month, and 4 50mg of those per day effectively stops wd's. But I still enjoy the Gaba's anyway, lol.
