    Negative emotions are not pleasurable, but they are necessary experiences from which one can learn and improve and ultimately acquire a better understand and therefore a better life and improved experience.

    I disagree. I think negative emotions themselves, like those resulting from listening to sad music, can be pleasurable.

    Wrath, peace, melancholy, elation, misery, joy, stress and relief, all these are the same but when they appear they are named differently. This sameness is mystery.

    Struggle strengthens us. It isn't healthy to overlook the more unsavory sides of the personality. All you end up doing is feeding your ego with repression until it ties your brain in knots. You can only grow so much from dancing in the light but you can derive so much more knowledge in conquering and working with your own hell. It can make people do great things.

    almost anything can be in the right context.
    the right context my not be the same for everyone,
    or even any two people at all.
