I cant help but notice the negative attention Im now getting from all kinds of people compared to back when I just had combed long hair. People in stores watch me like a hawk as if Im going to steal something, small town Barney Fife cops like to follow me through town looking for a stupid reason to pull me over once they get a good look at me. It gets annoying sometimes. Its not bothering me to the point of wanting to cut them or anything, its just surpising how backword and judgemental people can still be. Anyone else can feel free to vent on the subject or share any similar stories
Don't ya just love when you get judged by minimum wage workers!! I had a security announcement follow me around Walmart once. I couldn't find what i was looking for so I asked someone and that someone turned out to be a manager. We chatted for a bit and then I said 'well, I better go before your security guy sees I'm in a new area'. She laughed but I told her I was serious. I got 10 paces from her and the security announcement goes off again. I turned and gave a laughing 'I told ya so'. It's annoying but I've got enough privileges in my life that I don't let it get me down. Some people have to go through that crap because of the skin they were born with and not just a hairstyle.
