Don't wash your hair daily with salt water, it's itchy. But go dip in the ocean as often as possible.

I wash every other day usually but you may want to wash less than that, I get mine wet every day anyway because it's too hot here not to.

 

I've been washing my hair every other day. I'd say only do the salt water occassionally... too often could dry out you hair too much, which is half of why it helps the hair dread more, the other half is the extra friction the salt that's left in your hair causes.
