need suggestions for begginer songs on guitar

    Youtube has lessons on how to play different songs. I just learned how to play 38 years old, by the tragically hip. Just type in 38 years old lesson.

    First songs I remember learning on guitar were Red River Valley and Ally Cat.

    How about "I'm Looking Through You" by The Beatles
    Lots of early Neil Young is not too tough.

    I assume you assume some of us didn't realize the original was by NIN which is why you brought it up... I can't speak for the other(s) but the Johnny Cash version is more conducive to learning and easier to play along with imo which is why I recommended it.
