Hello, I was asked to DJ a sweet 16 party this coming weekend, but I’m not sure of a DJ name. I was thinking someone like DJ balloon animal or maybe DJ disco Dan. Any thoughts or suggestions?? Thanks

Most of my clients are DJs. Most of the time they use parodies of their real names. They often their first name and the first letter of their last name as the DJ name. Or they’ll take their first name and follow it with Beatz, Mix, Fire, Glow, Spinz, etc. Of all the client DJ names I’ve had, DJ Rollin’ hasn’t been taken yet
isn't it a synonym for ecstasy? In dj culture, that one might raise eyebrows; though if not a professional gig it hardly matters. No one will think you mean "DJ Rolling on E" Lol
It's funny that you guys are toying with the 'Dan' idea because there's a superstar DJ named DJ Dan. Now no one would know that... but at least now I've mentioned it. You won't get sued by anyone for taking your stardom forth. Interestingly, he actually spins a rather funkdafied brand of house music that has at times been known as "funky disco house".
Yeah sometimes it’s an MDMA reference. However the word “Rollin’” has been a synonym for cruising in hip hop and music culture for a very long time. The nice thing about a name like that, is it can allude to drugs and sound innocent at the same time

DJ X-Lax It was going to be my Dj Name but I've not been pursuing that Dream so I'll let you have it. You could have a slogan accompanying your name like "DJ X-Lax bringing that funky shit"
