something different: Thomas Tallis - The English Anthems (the Tallis Scholars perform this stuff really well)
Metal: Iron maiden Metallica Children of Bodom Chill: ....I'd just say the well known bands like beatles, pink floyd, bob marley... fuck that: some singles I think anyone can enjoy Metal: Thunderhorse Bed of razors enter sandman master of puppets crazy train shot in the dark cemetery gates one(metallica) fade to black Sorry I'm too lazy, but download those songs, they are beautiful; some more metal than others, all are melodic and some are mixes of cleans with metal
well i am a little weird when it comes to music, and listen to music as far back as the 50s to the 80s, and some random indie stuff thrown in occasionaly. But I don't listen to hip hop, pop, rap or any of that. I limit my ears to the likes of: Traffic- the low spark of high heeled boys Van Morrison- it's all over now, baby blue CSNY- It's been a long time gone The Carpenters- superstar The kinks- a well respected man Bobby Gentry- ode to billy joe Sam the sham & the pharoahs- Little red riding hood Merilee rush- angel of the morning That's been my playlist for the past few days.
Modest Mouse, Tool, and Sonic Youth are my current favorite bands. Sonic Youth is sometimes very shitty, but I suggest Superstar, which is a Carpenter's cover. It's quite sad though.
