    the last time i drank it i remember it tasting something like

    Are you crazy, I freaking love Guinness.
    New Castle, Harp, Boddington, Wellington, Jameson...not really a beer but I'm really craving it right now lol

    for cheapies, we drink Lucky... I wouldn't advise this on anyone though.

    The Guinness draught in the nitro cans is crap... really, really bad stuff. The only good Guinness outside of the pub is Guinness Extra Stout, which is quite superb.

    The people who think Guinness is crap have probably never had it on draught from a real Irish pub.

    and a 32 of carta blanca, but we won't talk about that.

    I had never seen these before, and I found some at the liquor mart so I picked one up at your suggestion.
    I don't dislike it, but it tastes more like peach Snapple than beer.

    I've never had the stuff, let alone even heard of it. I can imagine what it is like, though. Most fruit beers are sub par and targeted at people who don't really enjoy the taste of beer (.ie women and high school students).

    There are a few breweries that do make a decent apricot beer, however. One is Aprihop, from Dogfish Head. The other, which is quite popular, is #9, from Magic Hat in Vermont.

    You should let me recommend beer next time.

    I would suggest Czech beers, like Krusovice, or Plzensko (now known as Pilsner Urquel)...
    Best beer I've ever had!..

    for some reason this thread is making me crave Jager, which NEVER happens, ever.
    I may have to get some for tomorrow, then laugh at all the girls there who wont be able to handle it.
    I'm also gonna pick up Jameson and some harp products and Strongbow... plus whatever catches my eye since I'm not paying for it. haha

    I highly recommend Budweiser from CZ.

    It's called Czechvar here. It's one of the better lagers I've had.

    Only had one. I think I'm going to try and find it today.
