I have to admit, I wish the political forums were more active than the love and sex/drug ones.

While I wasn't there in the 60s, as far as I can tell the counterculture wasn't supposed to be about mindless hedonism, and only became that after it was sabotaged/absorbed by the mainstream.

It seems like instead of free love, idealism and pacifism we get porn, paranoia and guns.
