The video is a bit long, but these are all top youtube reviewers. Navi replaces their GCN architecture with a sort of inverted design they can tweak for their next architecture, but obviously preserves most of the incredible efficiency their GCN architecture has. Their "Image Sharpening" is a direct competitor to Nvidia's proprietary DSL and how much of its efficiency is due to the hardware itself is anyone guess, but this is where we can expect AMD to shine is with efficiency. They are designing everything for open source platforms that normally use Linux because they have much higher bandwidth capacities than consumer hardware has had up until now. Essentially, the more cores and fast memory they add to their computers, the more cost effective it becomes to use AI applications such as these demonstrations show, and AMD should be the company to watch for the most simple and efficient open standards.

Nvidia would copyright their own mother's name and charge her to use it, so AMD is the company to watch to get an idea of what will make for the cheapest open source standards that the rest of the industry adopts. Their lag input system seems to have little effect, but is possibly useful for things like games that don't play well and it is impossible to say without the reviewers actually getting a chance to test the new technology. However, this is the kind of AI applications that we can expect more of over the next year and a half, as everyone starts to break out their Big Guns. Among other things, I expect to see an AI capable of interpolating frames smoothly to reduce ghosting and jerkiness and motion blur at even the slowest frames per second.

Essentially, if the graphics card can't keep up, the AI fakes it for a few seconds, and does so right from the start knowing your graphics card can't keep up at certain points in the game. The AI can also be self-learning and use whatever solution has proven to be the best by anyone playing the game with the same hardware. They are basically about to eliminate traditional lag issues and polish that turd nice and shiny. Next gen computers will be instant on and off, with almost none of the traditional problems.

Sorry, I don't know what happened to the first video, but they replaced it for some reason.
