Yes alot of things IN NATURE are better than big pharma garbage! (Which is mostly to make $$$$$) Welcome to Hipforums
Yes, which is mostly to make dollars while keeping us comfortably sick. The longer we live while ill, the more money they make, which is why they don't care to find a cure or show us that there is one they already know of. Seriously, if they can make it so our symptoms are less then why can't they cure many of them? Why do they refuse to put money on natures medicines? And why do we hear sometimes that some of natures ingredients are actually in some of their meds? They know it will help us and they need it to do the work so they alter it so it's slightly there after their messing with it so we get only some of the benifits of what could be the cure. I don't do their meds unless I have tried natural substances first. Many times a doctor said I was gonna suffer and I have managed to cure or even lessen my own symptoms (without side effects) on my own, yes I pay out of pocket for my stuff because my plan won't cover natural stuff but it's worth it to me. One day our medical coverage will cover natural stuff which will cost them less but till then we have to deal with it ourselves and prove it works.
I think the logic for a national program for staying in the red rather than the black for the institutions to be able to accommodate the doctors with salaries is a bit different. Living long but not chronically is what the tax payer can appreciate for un-high taxes. Failing rates on keeping chronic patients is costly, that is the savings way to die quick and without pain. Finding a cure is not as important as managing therapy. That is the green way for staying in the red (government covers for the expenses).
gotta vote for WEED. drug companies dont want a better medecine that you can grow with fewer side effects. just watch daytime TV see 1-800-BAD-DRUG ads
It's difficult to say why plants may be more usefull for peol=ple then chemicals, specially developed to heal
We have found that all natural food is a very good medicine. Getting away from factory food allows the body to function as it should. Factory food, with all the chemical compounds and over procissing involves suppresses the body's natural functions, and allows disease to develop faster. Plus, obesity is a big side effect. I lost over 80 pounds just by no longer eating anything that is not 100% natural. (Natural being what it really means, and not the misleading term used by food companies to try to put their chemical food in a better light.) Marijuana also is a great natural medicine, if processed properly and used properly. So much can be derived from grows around that is good for us, and it makes tasty eating, much better than Big Macs, and Whoppers.
companies that make drugs that cure diseases are not all bad. some diseases have almost gone extinct because of the drugs they make. im sure these companies have done some shady stuff in the past, but thats just because its the nature of business and competition. every single company on earth was created to make money and that is their number one priority. if money is not a number one priority then it would be a non-profit organization. and they study all natural medicines. dont think that just because something came from a pharmaceutical company it wasnt based on something in nature. i think both natural medicines and pharmaceuticals have their place in our lives.
real medications are mostly poisons, when taken in the wrong amounts and for the wrong reasons. this is equally true, whether they come directly from living things in the natural environment, or from completely artificial synthases. i'm not saying this to deny the problems created by a pharmaceutical industry being profit motive driven. rather to point out, that the problem isn't entirely, or even mostly to do, with the origin of medications. that being more directly from nature, does NOT make them safer, for the individual taking them. in one sense, the combination of substances as the come from nature, are certainly closer to what our own bodies evolved with and for. but at the same time, this may also make it more difficult to accurately predict actual dosages being administered. people love to over "simplify". its all so ever so romantic and ego gratifying to do so. but it can also be dangerous, even deadly, and this is precisely the sort of context, in which it is likely to be.
Hi, I also believe that nature is main and important source to healing a diease. We all know precautions are better than cures. I am happy to do gardening in my spare time on my office holiday.
