Depending on the weather, I use lots of cornstarch and baking soda.

However, I sweat excessively and can end up with sweat stains from practically my elbow to my waist if it's warmer than 70 degrees out, so I have to use a prescription strength to not embarrass the crap out of myself.

it will, most uses of EOs will call for a carrier oil.
for deodorizing, a light oil is probably best, plus daily reapplication can clog pores for some people.
I literally use once drop of sage on a single square of toilet paper for both pits, so a carrier oil would only add to what I had to disperse.

if you make a blend, however, a FEW drops of carrier in the mix could be useful.

i was so excited when i found toms of maine but it gave me a really bad rash. my skin got all dry and flaky and itched like non other. i had to stop using it, but i gave it to one of my other hippy friends. my mom says it might have been the natural ingriedients that did it. (i have a lot of allergies.)
