I don't think so, hippiejessica. I use the sage spray deodorant of Burt's Bees (I think that is the only one he makes at present), and I said, it seems to work well. You might want to check the label (don't have my bottle around at present, or I would look) to be sure, but I don't believe there are any animal products in it.
No animal byproducts in this particular product SD alcohol from corn, water, sage oil, lavandin oil, lemon oil
How much of each oil do you put in? Do you think jojobaoil is good to use instead of coconut? Thanks for the tip anyway.
I have tea tree body wash it has an awesome smell I just bought some grapeseed oil I am going to get some essential oils to mix with it soon I am excited LOL I use toms of maine ( Like I said b4 LOL ) and it doesnt test on animals or use any animal products ...it smells great ..I like it ...lol
i use a deodorant from an ebay company called la diva bella...its citrusy and smells awesome and works very wel..all natujral too
not in the deo: SD Alcohol 40-2 (from yellow corn), water, sage oil, lavandin oil, lemon oil. I like the stuff. It's my in the desk emergency bottle.
heh...that is what i use to. just actually switched to the lavender roll on yesterday. i had tried kiss my face patchouli but it only worked for like a few hours and then my pits were corrupted with stink again. lol. to say the least.
Try BODY CHOICE its a really nice citrus smell and is aluminium free and contains castor oil!! its nice =) peace
does anyone know if mixing an oil with an essential oil and applying it to your pits just makes them greasy or does the oil get absorbed? -peace
Here's a practical tip a friend of mine learned from her Grandmother. Add a few drops of lemon juice to a half teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda. Spread this foamy paste under your arms and let it sit till it dries. Don't rinse it off till the next day. For a few days you won't have any body oder. If you do this once a week, after a while your body oder problem will disappear. This actually works -- from before the days of deoderant.
I tried baking soda and lemon today instead of deoderant ~ great results! I might use a regular deo if Im going to be sweating hard, but for bumming around the house and running errands, it worked Great!
adidas now makes a deodorant thats aluminum free and uses cotton instead for drynes. i love it and it smells fresh not perfumy
I use aloe vera gel and baking soda, the gel is really good for your skin and the baking soda makes you not stink just mix them untill you get the right consistancy and smear it under your arms or whereever you do still sweat but thats not a bad thing, i think somebody already said it but sweating is one of the many ways your body eliminates toxins but yeah....thats what I do
