terminator judgment day I remember when I was little, (seriously like 7) I had posters of X-29 and Space Shuttle and the Blue Angels. But one of them was the space shuttle, and I remember it stayed up even when the Challenger tragedy was reported. That was in 1986. By 1990, they wheeled a TV into our classroom. There it was in the middle in front of the chalkboard (well before dry erase). It was emotional... I was 10 or so, but there we were trying not to cry. I think the poster came down a little after that, but for different reasons. NASA was largely underrepresented from that time until sometime in more recent history.
I remember two explosions on live tv ...there was another during the Reagan administration as well 1990 very exciting for space.... whoa learning of hundreds of galaxies other than our own wowza ...the possibilities of spaceships grew to new dimensions of travel captivity ..developing into the reality we are seeing today ....very exciting yes about an hour ago before the sunrise went out to see the planets that are visible and sure enough they are visible
stigmata? At least I like the color. When I think of tattoos though, I'm going to go down memory lane... For me, that means festivals and lots and lots of LSD, plenty of time to think about sex, pining over lost love, and of course ice cream. It means being removed from the thinking of my parents. It means "macho" isn't part of the experience, but rather peace love unity and respect as a universal ethos, approach and philosophy for interpreting adversity, chaos, and hostility. Sometimes when I see a tattoo, it depends on whom it resides If it says "Harley Davidson", you might rather see it on a black person, lest your mind wander down into a racist cesspool that is rife with garbage, sewage, and rabid, shadowy, demonic mannerisms... ------ I try pretty hard to avoid hostility. When I see a lot of ink on a guy, sometimes it's hard to know what to think. Is he being intimidating? Is he threatening people? Or is he just existing outside the normal spectrum of optimism and positivity human beings inhabit. Rainbow's example is absolutely formidable! This outstanding specimen has taken body art to a new level! ------ Further, NASA is leaps and bounds above & beyond... What I mean is, when you think of this, maybe you don't realize what immediately occurs to me. To walk on the moon is one thing... But to design a plane for space flight, "the space shuttle"... or to launch a rocket literally into the unknown, or to orbit planets in a solar system, or to create a satellite network to provide radio without commercial interruption for a premium , to land a vehicle on Mars (and to name it a "rover")... Mars Exploration Rovers - NASA Mars All are phenomenal. My dad was a defense contractor, and when I was growing up I knew the words "Grumman" and later "Northrup". I had pictures of these accomplishments, and for me and my generation, space flight was largely a given. These days it's not given a second thought mostly. And there are other companies doing it; not just NASA, but now also SpaceX and others. What was always impressed upon me was the level of ambition involved in engineering these spacecraft... These machines were scientifically designed. They are made with attention to detail, and I've always been impressed by that.
I remember when I was twelve asking if I could get a tattoo on my shoulder of a white dove ...thank goodness my parents said no ...I wanted a white dove lined in sky blue I told them it would be barely noticeable and very small ...i am all thankful they said no ..I have no tattoos and I am very happy with zero tattoos my daughters all have tattoos they did theirs in their twenties one did in her thirties ..it seems a way of art ...I see beautiful tattoos on men and women covering most of their bodies ...it is art
