remember when space exploration was news? now all that matters is "did the first lady dress wrong," and i have to wait for an australian guy on hipforums to tell me if something interesting actually happens.

They were cheering at NASA because 40% of all spacecraft ever sent to mars either failed to separate, communication was lost, failed to orbit, crashed on the surface,
or simply failed to enter the Martian atmosphere.


Either way the price tag is in the billions

I don't know, maybe you're just following the wrong news.

 

Sort of, I tend to believe that, Mars was just another stepping stone from something much bigger.
Buzz is actually a big believer in the Mars structures and pyramids, I think Orison posted a video a year or so ago that I watched in its entirety.

I figure if an Astronaut believes, then I probably should too.

 

i don't really follow any news. but you just hear stuff, or see headlines, etc.
