All I am saying is that in writing, at least in classic literature (which is the only thing I know about) they put "an" before words that start with an "h".
right, honor and hour are two exceptions to the rule, I didnt think of those at the time..... but it just depends on how you say the word, like you said...... the "h" is silent in those words

I think the point was if you last name is Hilton, you don't name you kid something dumb like Paris or Sydney Airport.
