i called my cat hades but whenever i call him i say something like

"aw come heereee my little hadey-baby awww hadeybabbbyyyyy aw i love youuuuu" etc..

 

smokey. dont know if it would stick to a black cat. but i had a gray cat named smokey it was cool ^^

 

my best friend named her kitten Malibu... i dn't like that name. i say just wait and the name'll come. or you may just end up calling her "kitty" if you take that approach... lol.

why not name her "miumiu"?

it's the name of a big name brand AND kitties love MILK (or "miu" if you pronounce the word in a broken english thai/chinese accent~!!!!)

 

call him Tenebre..it kind of means shadow, I think

Thanks fo the help still not sure yet, shes a very active ferocious kitten if you tell her off you better not shut your eyes or your nose gets scratched.
What about 'cheese'.Or ' Midnight ' mids for short.

 

my grandma's cat was/is called Midnight (cat still alive, grandma isn't). We call him "Midi" for short. He is very agressive.. once sliced my hand open because I hugged Grandma without his expressed written permission. Very protective of Grandma!

Congrats! Midnight is a perfect name for her! I still think something literary would have been cool though, something maybe everyone wouldn't have gotten right away... like maybe Kunta? lol... you said she was willful!

I'm terrible with names, but one of my friends has a cat named Spliffy (well, it's her parents' cat - she doesn't smoke weed). And a guy that I work with has a dog named Dog - "It's like no-name brand!" Haha. I'm no help.

If I had a black cat (I'd never have a cat, but if I had a solid black dog...) I'd probably name it Cash - after the Man In Black himself.
