ive heard so many definitions for this beauitfulword... anyone care to elaborate and clear its meaning up for me?? namaste

 

The god (divine force) in me honors the god (divine force) in you.

 

I hear there're volumes written about it's meaning... or maybe i'm thinking of something else, i don't remember. anyhoo, all's I know, it's a farewell or greeting: I salute you. Say it always, say it often... smile more often, it's a good word.

As far as I know it just means 'hello' in Hindi.
