Several years ago a Gay naturist group regularly hired the Freyberg pool in Wellington on a Friday night after the public session had ended. This was once a month. It was not well attended and eventually ceased. Council workers were paranoid that someone might see in through the foyer and the glass windows were covered with brown paper sheets. I attended one session. There was also a monthly arrangement for the Cannons Creek pool organised by the Sun Club at first then the Free Beach Group. This went on for years and ceased when the Porirua City Council increased its hire charge. The last event was in 2006.
I like skinny tipping in the freezing cold ice melt dams and streams when the snow starts to melt off the alps. It is absolutely invigorating. Another great thing about cold water is it helps you lose weight by burning calories in an attempt to warm your body up.
It was a very long time ago that I was at university. I'd like to think that what you describe would happen today.
I drive past a lake on my way home from work, and stop regularly for a dip in summer, I keep my swimming gear in the car, coming off evening shift I swim naked, not so after day shift, this is not a nude friendly swimming area (yet) - nude swimming is the best.
I have 'playing around in a public fountain on a busy afternoon' on my list of nude in public activities. I've already been swimming in a hotel pool with others around...but I was reported, and told to put something on or leave the pool. That was awesome crazy fun!!!
I swim nude as much as I can I find swimming costumes uncomfortable and cling to the skin . Why on earth people wear clothes to swim has never made any sense to me .
