Where’s the one place you spent a lot of time naked publicly? Mine was on a hiking trip with my girl group of friends, we deciding since we hadn’t seen anyone on the trail in a while that we would strip down and do the whole hike naked. It was invigorating and definitely loved seeing even my shy friend let their naked selves out and about. After that we tended to be naked a lot around each other. Love the ice breaker if being naked around friends
I’ve done a lot of hiking and can see the appeal of being naked in the mountains. There’s annual tradition in parts of the Appalachians to hike naked on the summer solstice (I’ve never done it but apparently lots of people do). I’d definitely still need the hiking boots and it would ríase the stakes of falling on slippery rocks but it is a fun idea To answer the question I haven’t spent a lot of time anywhere in public naked, though I have been to topless beaches and did a traditional streaking event in college
No better feeling than walking nude outdoors. I used to live in Europe, so if someone was also hiking, it wasn't a big deal.
The biggest issue that I see with hiking nude is the clothes offer some physical protection. Even with those I get muddy, dirty, scratched, bruised and usually have at least one hiking injury that’s bleeding. Being naked is just going to make all that much worse. Maybe most people mean walking in the woods by hiking?
I visited at the Biltmore, not all that long ago and didn't see any riding around in them there hills, so......lol
Hiked in the Appalachians, the Arizona desert, parts of the Midwest, and even locally here at home. Being out in public nude isn't the draw for me. Being out on a trail and enjoying the elements bathing my body is what I enjoy. I find it sad there are so many dissenters about the human body being seen.
I have hiked nude in the Alpine mountains here in Europe many times, and still do. You do still need hiking boots, water, and some navigation equipment helps. The scenery is stunning and beautiful and it just feels so good to be nude in such wonderful natural surroundings. Other hikers don't have an issue with it at all as long as you are off the busier tourist trails. Some stop to chat, and some have even tried it for themselves and felt liberated. There are still a few official nudist trails, mostly in Germany. I mostly spend time nude in the spa resorts where I often work, and as I love to travel I enjoy plenty of nude sailing and sunbathing nude on beaches, either official nudist beaches, nudist tolerant beaches, or quieter secluded or less popular beaches.
When I go hiking I go nude and I go naked camping and fishing and I love to drive naked . I wish we didn’t have to wear clothes it would be awesome having a nude world
I’m not comfortable with my body. I have a dad bod. I’m not fat but I have the tummy. So don’t really like to show myself off in public. Maybe if I can lose the time I would go shirtless more but for now just my front deck by myself.
I know how you feel I’m 53 and not in the best shape. And I’m not a shamed about my body and I still go hiking naked
You'd be surprised how many women like the dad bod, in my mid 30s now and things have caught up to me yet i find more women comment on my body than ever
I’ve hiked all over the PNW in nothing but trail runners and a pack. This area is great for having a trail to yourself all day. I’ve been able to get naked at the trailhead and do a full 8 hour mountain hike without taking my clothes out of my pack. Dictated by the weather of course. Sometimes it’s just too cold up above tree line. Also, little biting flies will encourage you to cover up pretty fast too. Lol.
I did the streaming event in college as well and drove on my bike past some cool people! They actually applauded me and it was exciting to say the least. I sometimes wish I had done more of it. I also visited a nude beach and that was pretty awesome!
I stay nude in public all day long when I go to Collins Beach near Portland. If i want shade, it's right there. If I want to mix with a lot of naked people on the shore of the Columbia River, no problem. If I want private spot, I can find it.
