Guys , i have to admit what you are saying makes a valid point. What you must understand is most girls do not post pictures of them self to look "sexy" and attract older men. I personally belive the body is a beautifal thing...

I belive feminists are what , seperate men from women , I belive personally women and men should be equel, but we have to realise there are some things each other sex's cannot do.

I cannot have a baby ( at least i hope ). And a women cannot impregnate a man.

I understand this , i love women maybe to much maybe thats my problem lol ... becasue im a hormoned teenager, all i can say though is i think girls who post naked pictures of them self...might be offenceive but sit down with these girls and talk to them...

If you belive women and men should be equel ... men do crazy stuff , strip , run around naked... for fun .. why cant women?

I disagree. I do not believe that the girls posting on places such as myspace are doing so because they want people to sit down and have a conversation with them. I really do think they do it for attention, and because that is pretty much what everyone else their age is doing. They most certainly are not doing it to be artistic, because if they are they need to spend more time in art history class, there are far better ways to be artistic. Being naked in and of itself isn't artistic. Is the human body beautiful, of course it is, but they aren't doing it to appreciate the beauty of the nude body. Now, if they were nude, but making some sort of statement somehow or had some artistic content to their picture, that would be a completely different story. There is a pic of a gal in here where she is pretty much nude, but I find the way that the picture is presented is quite artistic.

I think for some reason these days fewer females in their teens and younger 20s know how to have a decent and or intelligent conversation with someone where the conversation doesn't eventually turn sexual in nature. They haven't got hobbies or talents to talk about with others and really don't know what else to talk about. I go out to clubs and bars with my friends and they are pretty much stupid, and I listen to the conversations people are having and I'm thinking to myself, "do you really have nothing better to talk about than this superficial nonsense?" But for some reason this is where their minds are.

And no I'm not saying this is all young females, because there are many many bright young ladies here who do make excellent posts, young men too. But I don't know that it is norm across the country for young people now days.

I don't make any damn sense at the momment, sorry, I'm working. I suppose what I mean is don't post a picture at all or post a clothed one, find something to talk about, get to know someone, then later maybe share with them privately a nude photo. Who the hell wants to take you seriously if you are sprawled out naked on the internet. I know I wouldn't. Because if you were serious, then making your point would be more important to you than being naked.

Yeah, so they are naked girls. Big whoop. Oh no, boobs and vaginas! Body parts all females have...on display! Now some guy somewhere on the internet will realize that the hot blonde in the pictures has boobs and a vagina! Sometimes said females may even be HAVING INTERCOURSE! With their genitals touching other genitals! How forbidden!

All the(legal) sites showing those things are showing age 18+ models, who are well beyond the age of being able to decide if they want to be in those pictures. They're not being forced, and they're generally pretty hot...no one is getting hurt, and it's helping to overwhelm the assinine walls of censorship erected around us.

Women fought for equal rights...which means they each can do what they want, when they want. Equal rights means if they want to parade around naked - they sure as hell can. If you -don't- like it, by all means please don't do it. No one will force you, just as no one forced them.

After giving your gallery a look, on behalf of all those with properly wired brains, I give you full permission to parade around in or out of whatever outfits you so choose.

But as long as the girls are at least 18 there is nothing wrong with it. Being naked is empowering, and so is being sexual.

There is nothing "wrong" with it even if they aren't 18. It's illegal, but not "wrong". :p

But since we have old farts in control (who do it anyhow), they want to control what everyone else does. Hypocrites! Dinosaurs! Assholes!

you need LOTS of help, I think you'll have to come up to Canada for, er, therapy

(at least until Harper finishes mucking up all the laws, you're legal up here yaknow... not porn-wise but... :X )

I think that doing something just to receive validation from others, not because it makes you happy but PURELY to receive someone else's approval (however messed up you may interpret approval) isn't a good thing. Isn't healthy. Don't get me wrong, doing things where you do get validated by others can be awesome - as long as it makes you happy as well, all on its own

I can't speak for random girl 1419572 on myspace. I don't know her state of mind when she took pictures of herself and put them up online. I don't know if they're genuinely hers. I don't know if she's just incredibly comfortable with her body (like BiB seems to be) or if she's doing it solely for approval from others or somewhere inbetween.

you DO NOT KNOW THESE GIRLS. You can't speak for them, you can't assume everything about their state of mind. YEs there are some general trends, there are unhealthy choices, but a nude/semi-nude photo does not an attention-seeking, self-loathing nutbag make

We may not know them or thier state of mind be these are not assumptions we are picking out of the sky here. These are logical conclusions that we are drawing from what they are saying and doing. That is why shrinks get paid so much money, because they figure out why someone is doing something even if that person can't really put their finger on it.

Like I said, some people here and elsewhere on the net might be putting up different pics to be artistic or because they are completely comfortable with thier body. Good for them I say. But there are far too many young women out there who are putting up pics because they want attention and using thier bodies to seek approval from others is the only way they know how to get it.

And since I know how this smart assed forum works, no I don't have a psychology degree, you don't need one to figure this out. You just need some common sense and to open you eyes and see what is going on around you. It doesn't take a degree to know when a 14 or 15 year old girl is half naked or completely naked on the internet telling you she wants to fuck you and she will do anything to please you, etc that something is wrong. We wouldn't let this go on in the streets, so why anywhere else? It doesn't break someone's hear to see a child prostitute, and it doesn't make you wonder what happened in their life to make them end up that way? A lot of times these girls are not far from being prostitutes.

And that is not to say that I believe in putting more control on things, had you read one of my previous posts you would see that I feel these girls some how have to learn on their own that this form of negative attention isn't what they need or really want. Or they could stand parents that pay attention or a good role model at the very least.

Like I also said I don't think there is anything wrong with nudity in general if it is being used for the right reasons. Adults are a different story here, but I think the original poster was referring to people under 18.

And maybe some girls don't need help, that is fine, then they can make their own decisions and live with any consequences that come with them, but I do believe that there are many many confused young women out there who could stand a little help, especially with self esteem issues. I'm most certainly not lumping everyone together, but for crying out loud go to a local high school and see what is really going on. I think some people are just so far removed from the situation and they refuse to believe the truth.

These girls are free to do what they please, but it is pretty pathetic, IMHO.

In the high school here, the girls act the same way as they do on the net, and they enjoy the attention their getting. They WANT to be treated like garbage because ironically enough, it makes them feel better.
Before my sister turned into the crackhead she is now, I was talking to her last year about guys...(she's 16 BTW)....and was dating this one great one for a coulple weeks. I mean, I played 4 different insturments, spoke 2 other languages, treated her AWSOME, great looking guy, basically, he was perfect. But she dumped him...adn why? Because, adn her exact words were, "I want a guy who treats me like shit."
She also has a page on nexopia.com and has the exact same slutty pics as all those other attention starved girls. They know that guys will flock to them if they do it. No one wants to waste the time actually getting to know anyone anymore, it's all about getting stoned and naked. I have yet to have a meaningful conversation with anyone under 17.
I sound totally old here, but it wasn't even this bad when I was in school. I mean, yeah, we had our slutty girls, but now it's all about who can show off more skin or act sluttiest.
Don't get me wrong, a woman's body is a beautiful thing, but the mind-set of all these girls is, "who gives a shit about the rest of me, do I look good naked? If not, I have to do everything possible so I can strip down and get lots of attention from the people I want to accept me." My sister would spend 3 hours a night infront of the mirror instead of homework...needless to say, she's flunked outta school.
Sorry if I got off the topic here, I'm tried....

don't people have better things to do than judge some woman for doing what she wants with her body??? Who are you to try to get inside her head? And why would anyone want to? Calling them pathetic, saying they have low self esteem, none of that is doing a bit of good, unless it makes you feel better to knock someone else down. Now that's pathetic. Why does it bother anyone anyway? It's her body, she chose to share photos of it. You don't have to look at them if you don't want to. Women's rights mean we get to decide for ourselves what to do with our bodies and our lives. It's nobody's business what her motives are nor does it really matter, she chose to post nudie pics, and it's her right to do so. Get off yer high horses and let them be.

some chicks at 15 are women, others are girls
some make those pics for attention,
others make those pics for themselves and
to show they're comfortable with their body.
it all depends on the person.

I think that people can make their own choices

There is no other eye more scrutinising of a womans body, than that of another woman
