When I started out sounding I used a glow stick for walmart. It felt good and shot out of me when I came. hen I moved on to using a usb cable. Fold it in half lube it good then slide it in. A guy was watching on webam and he told me to slide it in a little deep so I did then I jacked off with it then I came very hard. What kind of things have you used?

I use a silicon rod with a vibrator on top. It is awesome. I have ordered a set of steel Sounding rods, specifically for that purpose. If you continue to explore sounding which I encourage you to do, get a good set of sounding rods and some good medical grade lube and go at it. Sounding rods can come smooth, with button ends, textured, etc. Sanitize your rods well after every use. If you are using stuff around the house you may be more prone to infections and tearing. It’s the only Cock you got treat it well. It is a great hobby just be careful.

I don’t go very deep about 5 inches I had surgery to replace the lower part of my urethra About 15 years ago so I am afraid of damaging it that is also why I am obsessed keeping the sounds And area clean.

My absolutely favorite is an 18fr Van Buren. When super relaxed and in just the right position I can easily go into my bladder. It’s a strange, but highly pleasurable, sensation. Been doing it for years. Got a UTI once and now I always make sure to double sterilize everything and only use fresh sterile lube. I really need to get a couple more Van Burens in slightly larger gauges!

I've tried both the straight stainless steel sounds and the curved Van Buren sounds. While I like both, the curved Van Buren sounds can be difficult/slightly painful to insert when my cock is really hard. And getting an erection is (at least for me) the main reason to do sounding in the first place.

My best pleasure is from a set of flexible surgical grade silicone rubber sounds in the photo above. Easy to insert, they follow all the internal curves quite easily.
And they are long enough (about 13 inches long) to go into my bladder.

Like anythingonce says, it's a strange but very pleasurable sensation. As I slide it in and out, the bumps add a lot of sensation that the smooth stainless steel ones don't.
I like to hold my cock with my left hand, fingers pressing lightly on my urethra, and feel the bumps sliding as I stroke the sound in and out with my right hand.
When I ejaculate, I can pull out the sound and let it flow. Or I will leave it in, and watch the cum pressure eject it from my cock.

Just make sure to clean thoroughly and sanitize anything that you plan to insert into your urethra. A UTI is not fun.

BTW, fr is a French catheter gauge system. 3 fr = 1 mm diameter. So 18 fr = 6 mm, or just under 1/4" diameter.
